The objective of the project is to study how to achieve an efficient allocation of the generators in the Spanish transmission grid and how to make use of all available economic signals. The transmission tariff G will be examined in particular. A benchmarking of international experiences will be performed. A qualitative regulatory assessment plus a quantitative analysis of representative operating conditions of the network will lead to a package of regulatory recommendations and the corresponding mechanisms for implementation.
